Stuart Kaufman is president of Metamorphosis Coaching, a professional life & business coaching practice providing confidential support to individuals, real estate brokers, and business managers and owners. Stuart works with clients to help them be emotionally present, clarify their priorities, focus their efforts, and be accountable to themselves. The result is that clients create more success and fulfillment for themselves.

With over 20 years of sales, marketing and business/project management experience, Stuart Kaufman’s life work has provided a solid foundation for his work as a coach. As a project manager, Stuart has coached and led many project teams in establishing and prioritizing goals; developing, implementing and monitoring action plans; addressing and overcoming barriers; motivating team members, and celebrating successful outcomes. He uses these same skills and techniques in coaching individuals and groups.
Stuart left his role as management coach and project manager with Group Health Cooperative to pursue his own coaching practice. He helps his clients create more personal success for themselves by helping them focus on their priorities. He then helps them be accountable to themselves so that their most important work gets completed. Management clients are challenged and motivated to improve their skills to manage workloads, delegate tasks, prioritize and organize work, communicate effectively, manage conflict and lead assertively and confidently. Individual clients are provided the tools and support to help them show up as emotionally mature and responsible adults at work and at home. An important focus, in Stuart’s practice , is helping Men develop their Emotional Intelligence.
Stuart Kaufman earned an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (honors), a Master of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology from the University of Minnesota (honors). He is a graduate of the Coach Training Program at Coach U. He is a columnist with the Washington REALTOR News. Stuart is also an indoor cycling (spinning) instructor at a local Seattle fitness center.
Stuart is an avid biker, hiker, swimmer, cook and outdoor enthusiast. On Labor Day, Stuart has swam across the Columbia River between Washington and Oregon ten times. Stuart has hiked the canyons of Death Valley, California. He completed the 153 mile RAMROD (Ride Around Mount Rainier in One Day) cycling event on July 28th, 2005. In November, 2006, Stuart cycled 270 miles across the Negev Desert in Israel. In doing so, he raised over $4,400 for the Alyn Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital in Jerusalem.
